Black Knight is a comedy where Jamal (Martin Lawrence) working as a low-level employee goes back in time to a whole new lifestyle. As the trailer illustrates, there is a lot of comedy including some dark humor in this movie. There is plenty of dramatic irony where Jamal has no clue of what is about happen but the audience watching know exactly what is up. Made under the main theme of time travelling, Jamal ends up helping the benevolent queen take back her kingdom from the evil king. The movie ties together everything where he ends back where he started and sees the woman of his dreams.
