Billy's Balloon is awesome. It takes a seemingly harmless thing, and makes it an instrument of cruelty. The humor comes from the victimization of the small child, who just wants his his balloon.
Everything is just so unexpected and could never happen. It just takes you by surprise because it is so random. The baby is just sitting there innocently and then, out of no where, the balloon does a number on the baby. It's so funny because they are babies.
I've seen this video before and I can honestly say it made me laugh, despite the fact it was harming little kids. I think what makes it funny is the ridiculousness of a balloon trying to kill kids, but what makes it slightly okay is that it is a cartoon. If it were an actual child I think more people would be disturbed by it.
This video has a unusual comical sense to it. Even though it is gruesome where little kids get are getting hurt, it is still hilarious on how the maker made such horrible things happen to them.
The pointlessness and how random the video is what makes it unique. It is one of those videos where you are not too sure why your laughing but you cant really help yourself. The video drags out different events to make it even more ridiculous.
